Fred, Maceo Parker, Pee Wee Ellis, and Bootsie Collins left the God Father of Soul to ride the mothership with George Clinton and Perliment- Funkedelic. Fred's resume includes performing with the Count Bassie Orchestra, Ike and Tina Turner, Ray Charles' Orchestra, the U.S. Army Band, and Central High Band (Mobile, AL).
